Check out this video featuring this visionary entrepreneur and author, Prakash Adhikari of Nepal. His book will be available by early 2010! Watch the video to get a sneak peek and see his vision for the “New Nepal.” Very inspiring!

I met Prakash Adhikari on Facebook earlier this year. He impressed me because he was an entrepreneur and seemed truly determined. As I got to know him I discovered he loved to cook. He also said he had always dreamed of being a writer. That’s really all I needed to hear! I immediately told him about my Cookbook Coach system, “The 7 Secrets of a Successful-Self-Published Cookbook.” He did not even hesitate…he just said, “I want to do this, please show me how.” I was absolutely thrilled. What an exotic place, Nepal. He kept saying I come from the top of the world, so he decided that’s what he wanted to name his book… “Recipes from the Top of the World.” I thought it was brilliant!

carrots4At this posting he is still testing his recipes for inclusion in the book. I could’nt be happier for Prakash and I’m very proud to be involved with his book project.

Take a look at some of the interesting and delicious dishes he will be including in his cookbook. We all can’t wait to try these recipes! In Nepal you will find food that will nourish you and keep you warm. So curry plays an important part in the seasonings. The dishes are quick and easy to make, something Prakash insisted on, as he was doing the cooking to test all the recipes!

17 year-old Joacim Kempe of Sweden has completed and self-published his first cookbook. He began working with me just a mere 5 months ago. I am so impressed by this bright and enthusiastic young man. We can all learn a little something from him when it comes to getting motivated to do something, and following through!

It was a true pleasure for me to coach Joacim. He was excited to be writing his first cookbook and always had a lot of questions. He kept himself open to suggestions, and when I took him through the steps of my system, The 7 Secrets of a Successful Self-Published Cookbook, he implemented very quickly. He followed my system, and the result is his completed cookbook in under 5 months. Not bad for someone with a full load at school! Joacim’s enthusiasm was infectious, and we had many good conversations over skype about a lot of subjects. We’ve become long distance friends.

I hope to continue coaching him with his second book. He is also working onomslag translating his cookbook to English for markets in the US. Stay tuned for more about Joacim. I’m sure the story has just begun.

For now he is marketing his cookbook in Sweden. With the English translation coming later this year, I’m hoping to publish it through the new publishing company I’ll be launching in mid February. More on that soon!

When he is not writing, Joacim spends his time collecting celebrity autographs from all over the world. He also is the head of the fan club for Swedish musician, Caroline Af Ugglas. He has met her personally on two ocassions after her concerts, and she is just as big a fan of his as he is of her! One of her songs was used on his book trailer video.
