But… I decided to take the “high road.” First off, I had to be honest with myself. I knew in my heart I wouldn’t be getting another job. I had way too much going on to do that.
William Levy, the Cuban-born actor and star of many incredible telenovelas has taken “Dancing With The Stars” by absolute storm. This is the third week of the competition and Levy and his pro partner Cheryl Burke danced the Salsa. Each scenario offers a different set of circumstances, but the unifying factor is the food—always the food. This is real-life drama, set to food. And the drama is not staged as it often is on the more recent TV food shows that often pit chef against chef. Chefs are passionate people and a chef’s memoir is the real deal!
My first encounter with Celeste Yarnall was on Facebook in 2009. I noticed she had written a book about holistic cat care with a beautiful Tonkinese cat on the cover. I had owned a Tonk that was an absolute love, so I wanted to find out more about her connections to these beautiful loving cats. If you want to be a successful author you have to continue to associate yourself with people who are more successful than you are. The same thing goes for companies. Have you worked for large companies in the past? If you have, that is a good thing. Take a look at your resume. What well-known trusted company names are on there? If you have some, they can help you build trust with your new audience because people make associations.
When I finally decided to finish my first cookbook in 2007, I needed help to stay focused and finish the job. One of the techniques I have used since then that is extremely helpful is visualization. I recommend this technique to all of my clients because it works.

Joacim Kempe, the 17 year old cookbook author of Köping, Sweden traveled with his family to Stockholm on a rainy evening this weekend to catch a live performance of Hairspray at the Chinateatern (China Theater.) Exiting the theater at the end of the performance they were surprised to find that it was snowing. It was now time to go to another nearby theater to meet with yet another famous Swedish actress-Sanna Ekman.
